We are a small family run business, based in Leicestershire. I am an apprentice trained (time served) machine tool fitter having served a 4-year apprenticeship with Rolls-Royce aero engines in Coventry. Having over 40 years experience in service and maintenance of computer controlled and conventional machine tools, robot welders and laser cutting machines. The business evolved from the updating of our own boat when we fitted a new chart plotter and bow thruster as the existing dash panel required re-arranging to accommodate the new equipment.

We have 2 CO₂ laser machines. A 40 watt machine for small work pieces and a much larger 100 watt machine with a working area of 1000mm x 600mm equipped with a rotary axis enabling a wide variety of work.

With the larger bed machine, we have been able to produce templates for narrow boat names enabling the owner to accurately paint the boat name onto the sides after the boat had a complete repaint.

The ability to comfortably cut 12mm thick wood and acrylic provides a complete solution to many tasks. We recently produced a drawer insert to hold drinks glasses on a Fairline motor cruiser
